Carrot and Apple Dog Biscuits
Carrot & Apple Dog Treats
►INGREDIENTS:
- Cup of Whole Wheat Flour2 1/2
- 1/2 Cup of Oats
- 1 Apple (cored and grated, leave peel on)
- 1/2 cup of carrots (peeled and grated)
- 1 Egg (beaten)
- 1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil
- 1/2 Cup Water (Apples add moisture so ONLY add if necessary)
METHOD:
- Preheat Oven to 350 and grease a cooking sheet
- Core & Grate Apples; Peel and Grate Carrots
- Mix Flour, Oats in a bowl.
- In a seperate bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the oil, apple and carrot, and water if required.
- Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients bowl and mix thoroughly.
- Carefuly roll the “dough” out and cut into desired shape and size.
- Bake for 40-45minutes OR until applices are soaked and biscuits are firm.
Allow to Cool and Servce to your fur babies!
NB: Ensure you remove the core before grating
as Apple Seeds are not good for dogs!
